Maple Life Financial, LLC (“Maple Life”) is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of nonpublic personal information. This Notice of Privacy Policy and Information Practices describes how we protect and secure nonpublic personal information. Maple Life reserves the right to modify or supplement our privacy policy at any time. If we make material changes to our privacy policy, Maple Life will provide a copy of a revised notice as required by applicable law.

This Notice of Privacy Policy and Information Practices does not apply to any other relationships you may have with other financial service providers that are not affiliated with Maple Life, such as insurance companies, agents or brokers and life settlement brokers. Their privacy policies and information practices govern how they collect, use and disclose information.

1. Categories of Information Maple Life Collects

  • Information from you;
  • Information about your transactions with Maple Life or our affiliates; and
  • Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties.

2. How Maple Life Protects Information

To protect your information from unauthorized access and use, Maple Life uses security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Our team accesses information on a need-to-know basis.

3. Disclosure of Information

All financial companies need to share consumers’ personal information to run their everyday business. In this section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers’ personal information; the reasons Maple Life chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

Affiliates are companies related by common ownership or control. Nonaffiliates are companies not related by common ownership or control. Maple Life may share your information with affiliates and nonaffiliated third parties, including but not limited to future owners of policies being sold and their authorized representatives and our technology or service vendors.

Maple Life reserves the right to disclose all of your information. Maple Life may share your information for the following reasons:

  • Our everyday business purposes, such as to process transactions, maintain accounts, respond to court orders, legal investigations, and regulatory inquiries, or as permitted by law.
  • Our marketing purposes, including to offer our products and services to you.
  • For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes, including information about your transactions and experiences.
  • Our affiliates’ everyday business purposes or for our affiliates to market to you, including information about your creditworthiness.
  • For nonaffiliates to market to you or for business purposes or as permitted by law.

Federal law gives you the right to limit only (1) sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness, (2) affiliates from using your information to market to you, and (3) sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws may give you additional rights to limit sharing. To limit our sharing, call 877-777-0635 (Domestic – Toll Free).
