Reporting directly to the Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing, the key purpose of the Internal Sales Representative position is to support our home and field-based sales representatives in sales schedules, relationship management, product development, and other new initiatives currently underway. Our environment is dynamic and your work will be crucial to our success.
Essential Functions

> |
Support field based external wholesalers in marketing of company’s products and services. |
|
> |
Receive inbound calls from independent channel agents/advisors requesting assistance with marketing, product or case status information. |
|
> |
Attend, as proxy for external wholesalers, daily sales briefings presenting pricing closing issues on behalf of external wholesalers. |
|
> |
Make outbound calls to agents per arranged business plan tactics. |
|
> |
Report directly to SVP sales and marketing. |
|
> |
Support other aspects of the sales team as needed. |
Minimum Qualification Standards
|
> |
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or knowledge that typically would be gained through attainment of a four-year degree. |
|
> |
Basic knowledge of life insurance and or investments is required. Life license is preferred, but not required. |
|
> |
Excellent interpersonal skills to handle current and prospective clients. |
|
> |
Strong oral & written communication skills. |
|
> |
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and also successfully work in a team focused setting. |
|
> |
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and the Internet. |
|
> |
Initiative and strong organizational skills. |
