Group Benefits

Health & Dental Programs – Maple Life Financial has made available to its employees a Health and Dental Benefits Package, which includes Medical, Prescription Drug, and Dental coverage. Maple Life Financial contributes toward your health coverage. Plan details for the health program are available from Human Resources.
Life/ADD Insurance – Maple Life Financial pays 100% of the term life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance premium for employees. Employees receive one and a half times their annual salary up to $250,000* of coverage, effective on the 1st day of the month following their date of hire. Plan details for the program are available from Human Resources.
Short - and Long-Term Disability Insurance – Maple Life Financial pays 100% of your premium for short and long-term disability insurance.

Work/Life Benefits

Holidays – You are eligible for paid holidays immediately upon hire if you are a regular full-time employee or a full-time intern (a list of holidays can be obtained from the Human Resources Department).
Vacation – You are eligible to accrue vacation upon hire.
Sick Leave – You are eligible to accrue up to 5 days annually for personal illness or injury.
Other Leave – You are also eligible for jury duty, bereavement leave, and military leave.

Flexible Spending Accounts (Section 125)

Maple Life Financial offers both Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts for tax savings on out-of-pocket expenses. For the Health Care Spending Account, the maximum calendar year contribution that an employee can make is $2,500. For the Dependent Care Spending Account, the maximum calendar year contribution that an employee can make is $5,000.

401k

Maple Life Financial offers a 401k program to full-time employees who are at least 18 years of age. There is a company match of $.50 on the dollar up to 6% of your salary which vests over 3 years. Details are available from Human Resources.

Educational Assistance Policy

Maple Life Financial provides opportunity for regular full-time employees to pursue courses in accredited degree programs that are directly related to their current job. All courses must be pre-approved by the employee’s manager and HR. This program will reimburse 100% of required tuition fees to a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year, provided the employee achieves a grade of “B” or better in each approved course.

Gym Membership

Maple Life Financial provides regular full-time employees with membership reimbursements to local fitness centers, gyms, or health clubs.
